While I do not personally consider this album to be a part of that genre, I haven't been able to find a source citing this or any other Kool Keith album as acid rap. Acid rap is not a listed style on Allmusic. The discussion here is about whether trip hop should be included in the genre section of the album's infobox.

It has two additional songs not featured on the CD, two songs are remixes, and in the case of all four, the CD versions are gone and two other songs are absent. In other words, the two remixes replace the original CD versions and the two new songs replace two other songs.
