It should be similar to a replacement of a Magnetec converter. You would have to figure out the equivalent actions, but the procedure should be similar.

The other one now goes to the battery positive, and the third into the trailer wiring. To power the 12V lights I tested both leads and they seem to read the same as the battery voltage.

Neither measured 12V when the battery is disconnected Any suggestions? I'm wondering if the 12V output from the converter died and they did this to compensate? Theres not much more than a setupdown transformer, a switch and a few fuses, but I can't get the converter out completly unless I undo all the AC wiring
